After a very successful couple of years following the launch of The Simmons Method™ for Addiction Freedom, North West London-based addiction therapist, Cathy Simmons has won the Therapist/Practitioner of the Year Award for 2015 in the APCTC Awards run by the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers and Consultants, for her achievements in the field of addiction. After a vigorous process of shortlisting, public voting and scrutiny by a panel of judges, the awards were announced at a glittering black tie evening on 27th March 2015 at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury.

The APCTC called the event “The Oscars for coaches, trainers and consultants”

Cathy Simmons, founder of The Simmons Practice comments: “The APCTC Awards is an annual celebration of excellence and achievement of some of the best coaches, trainers and consultants in the industry. I am honoured and delighted to have been given this prestigious award in recognition of my work with addiction and look forward to sharing my approach with more therapists in 2015 and helping more people find a fulfilling life beyond addiction.”

Nicki Vee, Master Coach Mentor to the APCTC said: “Congratulations to Cathy on winning Therapist of the Year 2015 – she so deserves it! There are only a few people in the Coaching/Therapy world who are willing to work in the challenging field of addictions and so few therapists who have the depth of understanding and expertise that Cathy has. It is really important work that she does. I think it's wonderful that she fully understands the nature of addiction and that she is now sharing this with other therapists. She is truly, as they say, making a difference.”

The Simmons Practice is looking to grow the community of Simmons Method™ trained therapists even more widely this year, both in the UK and internationally, by offering online as well as live trainings, ultimately bringing relief and freedom to more people.
