Bossa Studios, the acclaimed developers of the ultra-frustrating yet un-put-downable Surgeon Simulator have come out with their next offering, I Am Bread, and we've got steam codes to give away!

If you’re wondering quite what the game entails, it’s pretty much all in the name. You’re a piece of bread, with the sole aim of toasting yourself. As this delectable slice of thick cut white bread you must find your way around a series of rooms, with the ultimate aim of toasting yourself in some way, usually on some sort of electrical appliance. In the kitchen, this is obvious, with a cooker top and toaster in view, if not in immediate reach. When it comes to other rooms, such as the living room, you need to use your brain to figure out ways of turning items into toast-makers, including knocking a bowling ball onto the TV! Once again, the standout feature of I Am Bread, like Surgeon Simulator before it are the controls.

While most games are glad when you almost ignore how you’re playing it and just enjoy playing the game, I Am Bread is intent on making sure you realise what you’re using, and how it is affecting you. Playing with a controller is highly advised, as while the control scheme is still difficult, it’s nowhere near as frustrating as the keyboard and mouse method.

If you are a fan of Surgeon Simulator in any of its iterations, or Octodad, you will almost certainly enjoy yourself with I Am Bread.  At only £6.99 on Steam and available for both Mac and PC, this early access game is very much still in the development process, but if you want to get in early and check out what all the fuss is about, then it is more than ready for you.
