Having already collected numerous awards for their quality artisan cheeses, 2015 continues to be a successful year for Quicke's. Their traditional clothbound cheesemaking methods triumph again, with Quicke's Goats' Milk Cheese collecting two stars at the Great Taste Awards 2015. Quicke's Mature Cheddar and Extra Mature Cheddar were also each awarded stars.

Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste Awards are the acknowledged benchmark for the speciality food and drink sector.  The much coveted Great Taste logo offers members of the public a trusted and instantly recognisable guarantee of quality.

On 49 judging days, that took place from March through to early July, the Awards were judged by a panel of over 400 experts, from all corners of the food and drink world. Great Taste gold stars are extremely prestigious - this year, out of the 10,000 individual product entries, only 31% received stars.

Earlier this year, Quicke's Goats' Milk Cheese was named Best English Cheese at the British Cheese Awards. Quicke's Mature Cheddar and Extra Mature Cheddar also received silver medals at Taste of the West Awards 2015. The latest accolades for the traditional clothbound cheesemaker, at The Great Taste Awards, further highlights Quicke's incredible record for consistency.

Mary Quicke comments: “What a busy and exciting year it has been so far! Our cheesemaking team are ecstatic to have received such acknowledgement for their hard-work and efforts.  Here at Quicke's we believe in tradition, quality and, above-all, great tasting cheese! Receiving these special stars shows us that these qualities have been recognised by a panel of expert judges during a blind taste test.”
