Thinking of studying with Wolverhampton’s “Outstanding” Adult Education Service? People are invited to come along to an open afternoon next week showcasing courses designed to give people the skills they need to go on to university or enter the world of work. Level 3 qualifications are A-level standard. Subjects include Art and Design, British Sign Language (BSL), Health, Social Science, Teacher Training, Childcare and Teaching Assistants.
Councillor Claire Darke, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Education, said: “Level 3 qualifications introduce students to the skills they need to study their chosen subject at university, or to get into work.
“They are ideal for people who are looking to develop a good understanding of a particular subject which could in turn create many new career options for them.”
People can find out more about Level 3 qualifications at the open at the City Learning Quarter, Old Hall Street, on Monday (18 January, 2016) from noon-6pm. During the afternoon, they will be able to talk to students and tutors and have a go at a range of activities.
