Temporary road closures will be in place next Sunday, 4 September 2016, when the Carver Wolverhampton Marathon Events take place. There will be six events taking place on the day, all starting from West Park. While the Callprint Walk in the Park and Children’s Mini Marathon are based within the park, the 26-mile Carver Wolverhampton Marathon, the 13-mile Carver Half Marathon, the Banks’s 10k Run and the Cousins 20k Cycle Event all follow routes through Whitmore Reans, Pendeford, Aldersley and Oxley and therefore a number of temporary road closures are required to ensure the safety of competitors.
