Job seekers interested in a career in the service sector are invited to a special event in Wolverhampton this week. Dozens of local jobs and training opportunities will be on offer at the Wolverhampton Jobs Fair, which has been organised as part of Wolverhampton Visitor Week and will take place at the City of Wolverhampton College, Wellington Road Campus, on Friday 10 July.

More than 25 exhibitors from service industries across Wolverhampton, including Wiggle, BHS, Staffline, C&S Care, Tailored Care and Woodford Homecare, will be on hand to showcase career opportunities.

Attendees will also be able to find out about training and volunteering opportunities, as well as the support which is available to help people apply for jobs.

Councillor John Reynolds, Wolverhampton City Council’s Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: “The service sector is growing rapidly in Wolverhampton and there are plenty of opportunities currently available in the city. The Wolverhampton Jobs Fair will be a great chance to find out what is available, and take the first steps to a new career.”

The Wolverhampton Jobs Fair takes place from 10am to 2pm and is open to all. Booking is not required.

The Wolverhampton Jobs Fair is just one of a range of events taking place during Visitor Week, an exciting programme of events taking place from Saturday 4 July to Sunday 12 July, 2015.
