Bristol-based artist Jennie Cave will be celebrating Black identity, culture and community through a retro-surreal collage this month.
Artspace Lifespace marks Black History Month with ‘Black Beauty’, a bold new exhibition by locally based artist Jennie that celebrates Black identity, culture and community through retro-surreal collage. Running from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 October at the Island Gallery, the free exhibition invites audiences to reflect on representation, history and joy through Cave’s distinctive and playful lens.
Located at The Island Gallery, on Bridewell Street, the free ‘Black Beauty’ exhibition runs from Friday 24 October, to Sunday 26 October. There’s no need to book to attend.
