Exciting crafts and tasty treats are being served up by Bilston Craft Gallery's new café. It has launched a pop-up Craft Café offering a family-friendly environment in which people can enjoy delicious home-made treats while trying out a wide range of creative activities. Visitors young and old can have a go at clay play, painting, ceramic painting and collage, with activities starting from just £3 per person. Older children and adults can also choose from a range of imaginative Craftpack projects, created using recycled materials by SCARF, Wolverhampton’s Schools’ and Communities’ Arts Resource Facility.

A selection of cold and hot drinks are on offer including a variety of tea and coffee or hot chocolate, along with homemade cakes, teacakes and scones and child and toddler-friendly snacks and drinks.

Councillor John Reynolds, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "The Craft Café provides an opportunity for our visitors to relax and enjoy a hot drink and a delicious snack while soaking up the atmosphere of this beautiful historic building. It also means we can offer our popular hands-on creative activities all year round, instead of just during the school holidays."

The Craft Café is open during Bilston Craft Gallery's normal opening hours, Tuesdays 10am–4pm, Wednesdays 10am–7pm, Thursdays 10am–4pm, Fridays 10am–1pm and Saturdays 11am–4pm. All the activities are drop-in, no booking is required.
