A very large number of participants including delegations from Seychelles, La Reunion, Mauritius, and Rodrigues paraded together as they danced their way into the People's Stadium in Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles. The artists and dancers were joined in their parade by Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture; Hon Santaram Baboo, the Mauritian Minister responsible for Arts and Culture; a government representative from La Reunion; Mrs. Rajwantee Ramrukheea, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Arts and Culture of Mauritius; Benjamine Rose the PS for Culture of Seychelles; and Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism of Seychelles. The island's beauty queens and Miss Kreol winners also joined the parade into the stadium in Victoria.

Though adverse weather conditions the two ministers were parading in the middle of the all artists and received a rousing welcome from the public who said they appreciated seeing culture leaders standing with their artists and this even when the weather was not at its best. Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles and the other members of the official delegations then proceeded to the main stage in the center of the stadium where Minister St.Ange delivered his Festival Kreol 2015 address in the presence of President James Michel and other dignitaries.

“It was a real joy to see the two ministers mixing with the artists," said many in the crowd. The ambiance was said to have been just great as the large number of dancers entertained their audience.
