Fashion students at Walsall College are set to stage their annual Catwalk Show and showcase their designs to members of the public on Friday 22nd June.

The Wisemore Campus atrium will be transformed with an elevated catwalk and come alive for the show, which will be an artistic collaboration between Fashion, Hair and Beauty, Performing Arts, Dance and Music students.

During the show, a range of stunning collections Fashion students have worked hard on throughout the year will be unveiled, with themes including Victorian and vintage chic, Tim Burton and Fantastic Beasts.

The catwalk models will have their hair, make-up and body art styled by Hair and Beauty students, while the evening will also be hosted by Performing Arts students, include live performances by Music and Dance students and filmed by Media students.

Christine Taylor, Curriculum Manager for Fashion at Walsall College commented: “The Catwalk Show will feature designs created by Fashion students, from levels 3 to degree level 6, and showcase their skills and artistry.

“The show will be a vibrant and exciting finale to what has been a very successful year. It is also an ideal opportunity for students from across the college to exhibit their creative talents and work together to make sure it is an unforgettable evening.”
