All of Parkdean Holidays' and Park Resorts' 73 holiday parks will be open for October half-term, where those looking to mark the occasion can take part in fancy dress competitions, pumpkin carving, face painting and spooky arts and crafts, as well as fun Halloween games from bobbing for apples to scary eyeball relays.

An exciting line up of entertainment acts including the chance to get up close to dinosaurs with the Meet T-Rex show, comedy from Basil Brush, performances from UV Beatz and music by Re-Take That and The Shane Ritchie Junior Band will also be taking place throughout the half-term week at a number of Park Resorts' parks.

Now that autumn's warmer colours have started to make an appearance across the UK, each park offers the perfect base for holidaymakers to soak up the new season's scenery and explore the great outdoors.

Parkdean Resorts' chief executive John Waterworth said: “Halloween is just around the corner and we have extra special plans this year, with fun and games, as well as popular entertainment acts visiting some of our parks, providing something for the whole family to enjoy.

“With the change in season, the upcoming October half-term holidays offer an ideal opportunity to make the most of the stunning scenery we're so lucky to have on our doorsteps on a UK break with the family.”
