It’s al fresco this weekend at the Hogshead in Wolverhampton as they launch their inaugural Hogfest with eleven local musicians taking to the courtyard stage throughout Sunday accompanied by barbecue, outside bar and eight traditional ciders on tap.

There is also a new view set to chill your mood after a local graffiti artist has created an impressive mural across a whole side of the courtyard; a beautiful landscape of mountain peaks, flowing river and lush green countryside under a perfect blue sky. Whatever the weather, take your mind off the mundane and prepare to be absorbed into the tranquil scene.

Live music acts include Luke Brown singing clasics like Simon and Garfunkel and Al Green; Joe Gallagher, a diverse folk and acoustic musician with his own composures; Karla Milton mixing it up with original acid jazz and sixties groove; and Suzanne Brown renowned for soul covers.

Ciders include the dry and refreshing Mad Jack (5%), a chilli ginger cider (4%), Fanny’s Bramble Cider with blackberries and Gladiator (8.4%) whilst the barbecue, it might be the first of the season, will be supplied with enough burgers and sausages to keep the whole family happy. Strawberry Pimms with fresh fruit, mint and cucumber will be amongst other summer flavours.

Head down for 1pm to hog your Hogfest seat and prepare for a day of uplifting experience.
