Known as one of the most iconic forces in music history, Jeff Lynne’s ELO is set to not only deliver ‘Alone In The Universe’, the first new ELO music in 15 years today, but also head out on a ten date UK tour in April 2016.With a distinct style that seamlessly and innovatively blends rock, pop and classical, ELO has had twenty six UK Top 40 singles, making Lynne's sweeping productions some of the most recognisable music of the last forty years and helping sell over 50 million records worldwide.

After the stunning success of Jeff Lynne's ELO headline set at BBC Radio 2's "Festival In A Day" in Hyde Park in 2014, where he played to a sold-out crowd of 50,000 fans in attendance (who according to the Telegraph were ‘practically levitating with joy’) and nearly a million people on TV, Jeff brings his peerless back catalogue and new album ‘Alone In The Universe’ to the masses in 2016.

Before the tour, Jeff Lynne’s ELO will be performing a live set for BBC Radio 2 In Concert on Thursday 12 November at the BBC Radio Theatre in London, presented by Jo Whiley and also is confirmed to play the Royal Variety Performance which TX’s 8 December on ITV.

As with ELO’s previous chart-topping albums, Jeff Lynne continues to serve as ELO’s producer, songwriter, arranger, lead singer and guitarist. ‘Alone In The Universe’ has wowed the critics with Mojo giving the album 4*, Classic Rock saying the album is ‘well worth the wait’ in their 9/10 review, Q saying it is ‘just about perfect’ in their 4* review and Uncut calling him a ‘seasoned’ master in their glowing 8/10 review.
