The National Outreach Programme (NOP) team visited different cities in interior Sindh from the base camp of Mirpur Mathelo for raising awareness of the programme. NOP Centre’s representatives paid a visit to colleges in Ghotki, Sukkur, Pano Akil and Daharki, spreading the message of NOP to at least 17 colleges and 1030 students. The majority of the participants of these colleges were Intermediate Part I and Part II students.
Prospective applicants enthusiastically participated in all the information sessions conducted by the NOP team. They were given a holistic presentation about the idea behind LUMS and especially it’s NOP scholarship. Detailed instructions were given about the entire NOP application process beginning with the application form for the NOP Summer Coaching Sessions.
Students were informed about what to expect during the Summer Coaching Sessions at LUMS and afterwards in terms of SAT preparation along with guidance and the benefits (financial support) offered under this Programme. The NOP sessions ended on a positive note in all the educational institutions with the distribution of flyers, posters and application forms amongst all the eligible students.
