Laura Elliot and Corey Campbell, the new leadership team of the Belgrade Theatre Coventry, are delighted to reveal further details of the spring 2023 season, which will include a series of high quality, co-created dramas, co-produced with nationally and internationally renowned companies and theatres; as they further cement the programming under the umbrella of their vision of the Belgrade as a ‘Theatre of Diverse Stories’.

Sampad’s community dance showcase will be entering its 25th year in 2023, welcoming over eighty amateur dancers to the Birmingham Town Hall stage. Taking place on the 26th February, Asian Spring is produced by Sampad South Asian Arts and Heritage, who have been connecting people and communities to South Asian and British Asian arts and Heritage for over 30 years.

Rockefeller Productions, in partnership with ROYO and in association with Disney Theatrical Productions, are delighted to announce the full cast for Disney’s Winnie the Pooh. The production comes to Birmingham Hippodrome from Friday 16 – Sunday 18 June.

The UK and Ireland premiere will begin performances at London’s Riverside Studios (Hammersmith) from 17 March, with an official opening on 26 March.

The Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC) – Promoter of the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023 – is delighted to confirm that multi-award winning Superstar DJ and music producer Calvin Harris, will perform at this year’s event taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 17th-19th March 2023.

Rick Astley is suing rapper Yung Gravy for using an alleged impersonation of his voice on a recent single.

The singer's 1987 worldwide hit Never Gonna Give You Up is interpolated in Yung Gravy's song Betty (Get Money). The song features an alleged imitation of Astley's vocals, something the singer said had not been agreed.

Spanning classic jazz to world beats, the 2023 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival will again attract visitors from around the world as the lineup includes international, local and Caribbean music. The world’s longest-running play, The Mousetrap, will play at The Belgrade from Monday 13 – Saturday 18 February, with a press performance on Monday 13 February. The genre-defining murder mystery from Agatha Christie, the world’s best-selling novelist of all time, is visiting Coventry as part of a UK tour celebrating the 70th anniversary of its premiere in 1952 and is visiting all the cities in which it originally played 70 years ago, including Birmingham, plus many more.
