Get Active Stay Active with Parkinson's UK first launched in April 2025 to help more people live well with the condition and 12 months on, the podcast series has achieved more than 5,000 streams and downloads across popular podcasting sites and social media platforms, including Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts and YouTube, among many others. The podcast was developed by leading content creators, 1FitLife, with support from the Physical Activity team at Parkinson's UK, with support from the Parkinson's community, exercise coaches and healthcare professionals. 

Hosted by leading presenter and broadcaster, Denise Waterman, the Get Active Stay Active podcasts cover a wide range of topics in 12 short episodes, from the best ways to get moving and increasing your intensity, to choosing the right footwear and adapting your nutrition. Industry experts and people with lived experience all shared their knowledge and insights for the podcasts which continue to be enjoyed by a global audience. 

The podcast series is part of a wide range of resources and promotional materials which have been developed by Parkinson's UK to help more people live well with the condition. Anna Castiaux, Physical Activity Programme Lead at Parkinson's UK said:
