Sean Paul and Wayne Wonder have made Billboard magazine’s 100 Greatest Songs of 2003 list.

Three songs featuring Diwali (Sean Paul’s debut single, ‘Get Busy,’ Wayne Wonder’s ‘No Letting Go’) along with Lumidee’s ‘Never Leave You (Uh Ooh, Uh Ooh),’ hit the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 during a three-month span in mid-2003, undeniably making it the defining beat of the year. Thanks to patience, perseverance and an affinity for doing things his way, Lenky’s place in dancehall music history is indelible.

The three songs by Sean Paul are featured on the list -- Like Glue at number 76, Baby Boy with Beyonce at 35 and Get Busy at number nine. Wayne Wonder’s smash hit No Letting Go ranks at number 72.

Dispset Anthem by The Diplomats, which samples Sanchez’s cover of Larry Graham’s One in a Million You, made the list at number 62. Meanwhile, the Diwali rhythm-inspired Never Leave You (Uh Ooh, Uh Ooh) by Lumidee is at number 48.

The respected 128-year-old American music and entertainment magazine revealed the list, which comprises staff picks, on Tuesday.

Among the popular American hip-hop, R&B and pop songs that made the list are Me, Myself and I by Beyonce (number 60), Right Thurr by Chingy (number 54), 21 Questions by 50 Cent and Nate Dogg (number 39), Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson (number 29), Bring Me to Life by Evanescence (number 18) and You Don’t Know My Name by Alicia Keys (number 16).

Beyonce tops the list at number one with Crazy in Love featuring Jay-Z.
