Everyone wants to put their best foot forward on their first day of school – and a shiny new pair of school shoes is the perfect way to do just that.
Award-winning family footwear retailer Charles Clinkard is launching a nationwide search to find a budding model to star in a brand new campaign, showcasing its range of school shoes.
The North East-based company is looking for one of its very own customers, who’s starting primary school this September, to be the face of the campaign.
All parents or carers have to do is send in a fun snap showing how excited their child is to start school – it can be anything from a huge grin on their face to practising their reading.
Managing Director Charles Clinkard said: “Our first shoes model search last year was a huge success – we received hundreds of entries.
“The final campaign was fantastic and is now displayed across all of our stores.
“We’ve been providing children with their first school shoes for generations, and we’d love to see one of our customers showcasing our new collection.”
Entering the competition is easy – mums, dads and carers can submit a photograph of their child by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 30, 2018.
The winner will be chosen by a panel of Charles Clinkard footwear experts and will be invited along to Clinkard’s HQ in Middlesbrough with their parents or carers.
The photoshoot will see their faces – and feet – on the company’s new national advertising campaign – and the winner will also receive free shoes for a year.
