Škoda UK is reinforcing its commitment to Chelsea Women by becoming the Official Back of Shirt Partner.

The partnership will see the back of shirt branding launch at the final game of the 2024/25 season and continue to feature on all match kit for the 2025/26 season and beyond. This will be the third season of collaboration and partnership of two multi-trophy-winning brands, with Škoda having served as the Official Automotive Partner since January 2024.

The announcement comes as Chelsea Women celebrate a record sixth consecutive FA Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) title. Škoda-branded shirts will make their debut this Saturday (10 May), as the team lifts the trophy in front of a home crowd at Stamford Bridge. The branding will also be in position for the FA Cup Final taking place at Wembley on 18 May as Chelsea Women strive for the domestic treble.

Beyond the shirt branding, players and staff of CFCW and the Women’s Academy will have access to Škoda’s acclaimed all-electric Enyaq range and the Kodiaq iV plug-in hybrid model. As part of the partnership, an extended digital content programme will see Škoda UK continue title sponsorship of the ‘We Are Chelsea’ podcast, alongside the release of exclusive player-focused content across Chelsea Women’s and Škoda UK’s official social media channels.

Škoda’s presence will also be visible on matchdays, with branding featured on signage and advertising at both Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow. In a unique matchday moment, a Škoda model will lead the team bus into Stamford Bridge, symbolising the journey shared by both brands. Giulia Mazzia, Commercial Director for Chelsea FC Women, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Škoda UK, a brand that has valued and championed women’s sports for years.

“To welcome them as our first Official Back of Shirt Partner illustrates our collective ambition to innovate and establish new ways to bring partners into the fabric of how we support the business function of the club. The team at Škoda UK are committed in helping us connect with our hugely passionate community, both on matchdays at Kingsmeadow and Stamford Bridge but also beyond those moments when digital content offers such value and connection for the wider Chelsea family around the world. We’re excited to continue achieving great things together.”

Kirsten Stagg, Head of Marketing at Škoda UK, said: "We’re proud to partner with the exceptional Chelsea Women team and look forward to seeing the Škoda logo displayed proudly on the back of the players’ shirts."

“It’s a privilege to partner with an organisation that shares our ambition to deliver best-in-class results in everything they do. Chelsea Women exemplify many of the core values we hold at Škoda, and we’re excited to continue championing the team while supporting the growth of the sport.”

The partnership underscores Škoda’s ongoing commitment to supporting women’s sport. A long-time champion of professional female cycling, Škoda has partnered with prestigious events such as the Tour de France Femmes, while also nurturing emerging talent through its previous Cycling Academy programmes.

Now extending its support to football, Škoda has signed five Chelsea Women players as brand ambassadors to strengthen the association further: Niamh Charles, Aggie Beever-Jones, Ashley Lawrence, Zećira Mušović, and Mayra Ramírez. The ambassadors will be present in digital content, community events and staff engagements.
