TV presenter and journalist, Rebecca Jackson has announced she will be entering the 2015 GT Cup. She will be racing alongside Mike Sellar in his Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car in the GTB class.
Using her entry into the GT Cup as a step-up to the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2016, Rebecca launched 'Project Le Mans' in 2013 and hopes the experience she will gain in GT Cup will move her one step closer to her dream of competing in the 24-hour endurance race.
Now working for Torque as PR and Key Account Manager, she will be working closely with the Porsche Carrera Cup GB team, Credit 4 Cars.
Rebecca previously worked for Just Marketing International, the world's largest motorsport marketing agency, who are responsible for 90% of the Formula One World Championship sponsorship. She also spent two years working at United Autosports, in charge of their Media, Marketing and PR.
Before that, she worked at the LNT Group, the group that owns Ginetta Cars and also worked at Welcome to Yorkshire, the company responsible for bringing the Tour de France to Yorkshire in 2014.
Jackson and Sellar will be at the first round of the GT Cup at Donington Park on April 25 and 26.
