Leiths is inviting 7-11 year olds to four days of fun cooking and art activities this summer. The West London school is re-launching Kids Kitchen, in partnership with creative oasis Kite Studios. The cookery activities have all been designed by the Leiths chefs (and parents!) to be fun, to teach important life skills, and to sneakily include fruit, vegetables and whole grains wherever possible!

Budding chefs and artists can choose whether they would like to cook in the morning and get arty in the afternoon, or vice versa. From Flapjack breakfast bars to Home made pasta with tomato and basil sauce, kids will learn skills for life, which will boost their confidence, encourage teamwork and fire their imaginations.

They'll also get to experience cooking in the light, airy professional kitchens at Leiths, and if the weather is fine there may even be a trip to Wendell Park.Art classes at Kite Studios range from pottery, printmaking, craft making and silkscreens to Minecraft landscapes and junk modelling. With a fully equipped studio and a passionate team of teachers, Kite Studios is an inspiring space for developing creativity.

Camilla Schneideman, managing director at Leiths and mother of two, said: “We all want to give our children fun, adventure, and the chance to make new friends in the summer holidays.“Kids Kitchen offers all this while teaching children to cook and make art  They'll be so proud of what they've created, and you'll have treats to share in the evening, and make together for years to come.”
