Black Country Chamber of Commerce have announced that they are to move from their current location in Walsall to their new business premises, which is situated at the Wolverhampton Science Park.
From Monday 15th June, the Chamber will be based within the Creative Industries Centre at the Science Park, which was chosen by the board due to the flexibility of the office amenities available, combined with the utilisation of conference and training rooms. The board were also attracted to the open plan aspect of the office space. In addition, the Chamber will be joining a hub of approximately 90 companies from a variety of business sectors.
Ninder Johal, President of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, commented: “This is just the next in a series of steps we are taking to move us closer to reaching our aim, the last being the launch of the new Consultative Forum. The Chamber is delighted to be moving to the Wolverhampton Science Park, where we will be surrounded by a wealth of innovative and creative businesses. We continue to serve businesses across the region and will shortly be strengthening our outreach and support capability. Trusted relationships and impartial advice are amongst first step to business growth. We have been supporting businesses across the Black Country for more than 150 years: the new location will help us carry on with renewed vigour.”
The Black Country Chamber of Commerce is committed to its aim of doubling the size of the Black Country economy by 2023 through its own high growth programme, a revolution in skills development and enhancement of the local transport infrastructure. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK with twice the national density of manufacturers. Removing barriers to growth for local businesses is essential to ensure the economic development of the region.
