A new Caribbean restaurant is set to open in Los Angeles, in the United States, courtesy of “Top Chef Canada” semi-finalist, Adrian Forte of Toronto.
The restaurant, called ‘Lucia’, will be on Fairfax Avenue north of Beverly Boulevard and is set to open in the spring, Eater LA reported, adding owner Sam Jordan selected Forte to come up with a modern menu for the formal space. Forte is from Kingston, Jamaica, and created the Afro-Caribbean pop-up YAWD, writing a cookbook of the same name.
He has cooked for celebrities and appeared on “Top Chef Canada” and “Chopped Canada.”
