Ruth Wilson, 79, was at an all-time low in life. She had six amazing grandchildren she loved more than anything in the world.

It was the highlight or her day to spend time with them. But something was stopping her from ever getting to see them.

Ruth was sitting on the couch on an average Sunday waiting for her daughter and grandchildren to visit any minute. Instead, the phone rang. Her daughter said they wouldn’t be able to come today or anytime soon.

“That call,” Ruth said, “brought me to tears”. Her daughters said that the grandkids were almost instantly irritated, getting stuffy noses, sneezing, coughing and watery eyes when they came over. So, they hated it.

“I swear I didn’t even notice the dust,” Ruth said. “I was starting to have difficulty getting in and out of cars, so it would almost be impossible for me to visit them at their house. I was scared I would barely ever get to see them.”

The dust problem needed to be fixed if she wanted to ever spend time with her grandkids. So, she tried the usual remedies. “I tried every single thing I could,” Ruth said.

“Everything. Calling a cleaning company to deep clean dust once a week? Nothing! I got so desperate I got my carpet and furniture replaced thinking that was it. Huge waste of money! My daughter said the dusty air was still terrible.”

With seemingly no way to see her grandkids, Ruth was left with two choices: sell her home she cherished for over 40 years, or never see her grandchildren in her own house again. But little did she know, help was at her front door. Literally!

A long-time friend Ruth hadn’t seen in over 10 years stopped by for a surprise visit. “I invited her in, and her face instantly changed. She started coughing and asked; “When's the last time you dusted this place?”

“I told her I just paid a cleaning company 3 days ago! I’ve tried everything.” Her friend looked so confused, she said she couldn’t stay long and went back to her car.

“I was embarrassed, it’s been 10 years and she stayed for two minutes?” Ruth says. “But then about an hour later she heard a knock on the door. “Oh no, another visitor who won’t stay long” she thought.

But her friend was back with these little gravy bags in her hand. She came inside and started placing them all around the house in each room. She started walking back towards the front door and said: “Trust me. But for now, let’s talk on the porch before this dust bothers me anymore.”

“Well,” Ruth says, “it worked. The next week I called my daughter and told her to come over and see if that dustiness was really gone. I expected her to come in and walk straight out the door. But something magical happened.”

Her daughter said: “Wow. It feels like a whole new house! What did you do?”

I told her my friend gave me these little charcoal bags that said “NatureFresh” on them. I didn’t have any idea how they worked but I was so happy. Ruth excitedly said; “Get those grandkids over here!”

The next day all six grandkids came over and had such a great time they even stayed the night and watched movies!

“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I finally got to see my grandkids again and was no longer feeling so lonely.” I ordered 5 more bags to put in my attic, garage, spare bedrooms to make sure this never happened again.

The clever little trick that cleans the air in your home by removing air particles... Activated bamboo charcoal is what's used in professional water-treatment facilities. (You know, like the one you pay every month.)

Basically, it works like a dust and mould magnet. Once the dust particles and mycotoxins come in contact with it, they're completely stuck, with nowhere to go.

It’s made of pure carbon, with millions of tiny, microscopic holes in it, like a really fine net. Air can flow right through these holes, but microscopic particles like odour molecules, dust, and even mould toxins get stuck inside.
