At a recent press conference presided over by Guam Governor Mr. Eddie Baza Calvo, Dusit International CEO Mr Chanin Donavanik and Guam Visitors Bureau General Manager Mr. Jon Nathan Denight, the Dusit Thani Guam Resort officially opened its doors to a new wave of visitors to the island.  The launch of the Guam Convention Centre heralds a new era for tourism in Guam as the hotel works with stakeholders to promote the island as a first-class destination for both business and leisure travellers alike. 

Qatar Duty Free welcomed the festive season with the installation of a spectacular Dolce & Gabbana display featuring a larger-than-life snow globe at Hamad International Airport (HIA). The 2015 Tourism Eminent Achiever Award in Africa went to Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, and this is a sign of appreciation for one's work said the Minister. Minister Alain St.Ange added another prestigious accolade to his already impressive collection, when he was last week awarded the Eminent Achiever Award in Africa.
