As Black History Month (BHM) in the UK celebrates the excellence of the Black community who have invented, created and inspired – past, present and future – to help shape the wider multicultural community, some of the Premier League’s leading players are upfront and personal with their views of what the celebratory month means to them. Kalvin Phillips, Kyle Walker and Paul Pogba, share their views on what the ‘Month means to them.

The British teams have been selected for the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships which are due to take place in Thailand next February.

The Championships, which were rescheduled from November due to the Pandemic, will see British teams compete in all five events: uphill and up-and-down mountain races, the junior races and the 40km and 80km trail races.

The British public has selected a further seven ‘One Step Greener’ Ambassadors from across the UK who are going above and beyond to tackle climate change. They will join the existing 13 Ambassadors, inspiring the public to go one step greener and having their stories showcased at COP26.

Sports fans hoping to secure tickets for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games need to act fast as the main ticket ballot for the Games will close at 8pm today (Thursday September 30). There are more than one million tickets available for the Games, the biggest multi-sport event to be held in the UK since the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with prices starting at just £8 for under 16s and £15 for adults.
