For travellers to Florida this December, Holidays in Space, presented by Pepsi, returns brighter than ever at Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex.
Throughout the entire month* of December 2024, the visitor complex will be transformed into a spectacular, holiday-themed space wonderland, with vibrant decorations on display. The iconic 50-foot tree, adorned with more than 61,000 pixels of light, returns this year, plus there will be six-foot-tall astronaut nutcrackers, the NASA meatball-turned-holiday ornament and so much more.
Additionally, from 20 - 30 December 2024, guests can marvel at a nightly show, Starflake’s Holiday Voyage, which will be projected on the massive exterior of Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex. Inspired by the adventure of space travel, the show returns this year by popular demand and will take visitors on a breathtaking journey with Starflake as she travels through the stars, Earth and beyond.
Familiar places will be spotted along the way, like the Vehicle Assembly Building, International Space Station, James Webb Space Telescope and more. Guests will also find larger-than-life holiday installations, breathtaking photo opportunities and an expanded Rocket Tree Trail, sponsored by L3Harris Technologies, where themed Christmas trees line a path through the visitor complex, creating a stunning display.
Combining the magic of the holiday season with the spirit of discovery, Holidays in Space promises unforgettable experiences that immerse visitors of all ages in the wonder of space exploration. “Holidays in Space at Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex offers guests an out-of-this world way to celebrate the holidays,” said Therrin Protze, chief operating officer, Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex.
“This event is designed to inspire and engage visitors of all ages as they explore the past, present, and future of space exploration in a setting that’s both festive and meaningful.
