Kevin Carty, a native of Anguilla, will join the upmarket Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club as general manager on September 5, 2022.
Carty joins the Salamander Hotels & Resorts family from the executive management team at Belmond Cap Juluca, where he currently serves as the Resident Manager.
It’s a homecoming of sorts for Carty since prior to Cap Juluca, he served as Assistant Financial Controller at Cuisinart Resort and Spa (now Aurora Anguilla), where he managed the financing of the construction of the new ocean villas and the spa renovation.
Carty, who brings strategic leadership skills to the resort and has a strong interest in improving operations, thrives in the areas of financial planning, team building, and boosting guest services and satisfaction ratings. Some of his career highlights include the ground-up creation and successful launch and operation of Cap Juluca’s highly reputed villa host program.
He also played a key role in helping Belmond Cap Juluca earn the coveted Forbes Five-Star award in 2022.
