The Black Country Chamber of Commerce are holding a Your Future Careers Fairs through a British Chambers of Commerce initiative. They are inviting businesses to showcase their company at their Your Future Careers Fair on Tuesday 23rd February from 11am to 3pm at Willenhall E-Act Academy. This event is free for businesses to exhibit and is an opportunity to engage with the next generation.

Your Future Careers Fairs is a government funded national project to deliver 250 events through Chambers of Commerce, attracting over 70,000 young people across England.

The aim of Your Future Careers Fairs is to inspire, enthuse and motivate young people aged 14-24, encouraging them to actively think about their future career progression, the employment options available to them and to make the most of their remaining time in education.

These Careers Fairs offer young people the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of local businesses and training providers, offering direct access to quality support and advice relating to career options.

Ninder Johal, Black Country Chamber of Commerce President, commented: “One area we have been keen to challenge is the gap between education and business. We have been working hard on ensuring every pupil in every school has the chance of getting high quality experience of work, relevant preparation for the working environment and understands the career options available to them. The Your Future Careers Fair is a great opportunity for young people and businesses to come together and shape the future.
