Bound by tradition: BILSTEIN again achieves top rankings in the readers' polls of the major car magazines
The BILSTEIN team has reason to be delighted also in this year: BILSTEIN shock absorbers and sports suspensions have once again gained excellent results and won coveted and prestigious awards.
In 2024, the long-established brand once again received a total of eight first prizes in readers’ polls organised by major German automotive magazines. The awards show the great trust that readers of the trade press have in BILSTEIN products.
These polls attract a great deal of attention in the automotive industry, as they very accurately reflect the assessment of the potential target group of buyers. The readers of major car magazines in particular are regarded as a competent jury, as the readership includes not only ambitious car drivers but also many workshop professionals.
BILSTEIN’s success has a long tradition: for 17 years now, the suspension specialist has regularly achieved top rankings in readers’ polls. But success is also an obligation – with the slogan WAY AHEAD, BILSTEIN emphasises the brand’s own claim to always be one step ahead with pioneering innovations, premium quality and expertise from OE production.
The fact that these efforts are paying off is clear in the particularly demanding performance sector: BILSTEIN was able to secure the top positions in the “Sports and coilover suspensions” category among readers of sport auto and MotorSport aktuell. Readers also ranked BILSTEIN at the top of the classics category: In the “Motor Klassik” magazine, readers voted BILSTEIN best brand 2024 in the suspension category with an impressive 76.6 per cent, while BILSTEIN also emerged as “Top Brand 2024 GOLD” in the suspension category in the “Classic Cars” magazine.
The readers of these magazines honour the fact that today’s coveted classic cars rolled off the production line as new cars with BILSTEIN shock absorbers and that these parts are today still available in OE quality from BILSTEIN. And this applies not only to high-priced classic cars such as the Porsche 911 models of the F series or the Mercedes-Benz Pagoda, type W113. Unlike many other suppliers, BILSTEIN can also offer spare parts for classic everyday vehicles.
The Best Brand poll was carried out for the 19th time in the leading German trade magazine – auto motor und sport. BILSTEIN achieved the top position in the sports suspension category with an impressive 66.7 per cent of the votes.
