Midlands-based homebuilder, Cameron Homes, is delighted to have extended its decade-long sponsorship of Dunstall Cricket Club.
The community cricket club, whose main ground is located at The Deer Park close to the Staffordshire village of Tatenhill, runs a number of teams across men’s, women’s and junior leagues. The club is situated close to where the homebuilder has been developing the 300-home site, Lawnswood, over the last few years, with more homes currently in development.
As a result of the 10-year sponsorship from Cameron Homes, the club has been able to grow the number of teams playing at the ground and regularly hosts the Cameron Homes Cup competition. Michael Dean, commercial director at Cameron Homes, commented: “We’re delighted to continue our sponsorship of Dunstall Cricket Club for another year.
“Our longstanding partnership with the club has allowed us to give back to the community in which we’ve worked in for many years now and we’re so pleased to see that the support we’ve given has allowed the club to grow further.” John Waller, Hon. Secretary for Dunstall Cricket Club, added: “Cameron Homes has been our main club sponsor for over 10 years now and their generosity has been key to the growth of the club, allowing us now to play additional senior teams during the weekend.
“Our club also has a very strong junior section and is developing women’s and girls’ cricket, which is becoming increasingly popular. We’re also looking forward to the upcoming Cameron Homes Cup competition this summer, which is made possible thanks to this sponsorship.”
