easyJet has launched its flights on a new twice-weekly route from Birmingham Airport to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands.
Known for its year-round warm weather, vast beaches and impressive volcanic landscape, Lanzarote is a great choice for those looking to catch some winter sun. easyJet’s new route will provide convenient options, departing on Thursdays and Sundays, perfect for a long-weekend or week-long winter break.
Seats are available at easyJet.com and via the app from £20.99*. easyJet also recently announced a new route from Birmingham to Rome which will take off from 5 March 2026 so travellers can get ahead of the summer crowds with a trip to Italy’s capital.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “We are thrilled to celebrate the launch of our new service from Birmingham to Lanzarote, providing our customers in the Midlands with even more choice for a winter sun break.
“We are proud to offer great value fares and convenient connections for our customers in the Midlands looking to explore Europe and beyond and we look forward to welcoming them onboard.” Al Titterington, Terminal Operations Director at Birmingham Airport, said: “We’re delighted to see easyJet’s inaugural flight to Lanzarote take off from Birmingham Airport.
“This new year-round service bolsters our existing connectivity to Lanzarote and will provide even more choice for customers looking to explore the sunny Canary Islands.” Further information on easyJet’s network from Birmingham and to book, is on easyJet’s website.
