The inaugural edition of Guext, a trade fair for hospitality suppliers and services, featuring over 130 participating companies is now on.
Organized by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with FELAC, Guext is taking place from October 18 through until today (21st) in Hall 4 of the Recinto Ferial. This event brings together companies from seven countries, showcasing the international scope of the hospitality value chain.
Guext 2024 aims to be a pivotal meeting point and business platform for the industry, adopting a professional approach and occurring biennially. Attendees are exploring the latest innovations in equipment, technology, design, and management related to the hospitality sector.
Key topics such as automation, new consumer expectations, and sustainable excellence are set be discussed. The Guext Forum, created in partnership with the Escuela de Hostelería y Turismo de Cámara de Madrid, is hosting master lectures and round table discussions on industry trends and challenges.
The event also features the Innovation Gallery, where the 'Hospitality 2024 Excellence in Innovation Award' will be presented today. The Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Hospitality Distribution will honour professionals in the distribution channel on October 19.
A highlight of Guext is the CoffeeXperience, showcasing the growing significance of coffee in hospitality. This dedicated space hosts coffee producers, importers, and equipment manufacturers, offering certifications for baristas and tastings from various regions.
