St Aidan’s Primary School, in Haringey, in London, is celebrating a remarkable achievement, having been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating across all areas in their latest Ofsted report.
The inspection highlighted the school’s excellence in key areas, including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and early years provision. This exceptional outcome reaffirms the school’s commitment to providing the highest standard of education and care, maintaining the ‘Outstanding’ rating it first earned in 2007.
In their latest report, Ofsted commended St Aidan’s Primary School for its rich and ambitious curriculum, alongside a well-designed personal, social, and health education (PSHE) programme that supports pupils' well-being. Councillor Zena Brabazon, Cabinet Member for Children, Schools and Families at Haringey Council, said: “St Aidan’s Primary School has once again set the standard, achieving an incredible Ofsted result.
“The school has gone above and beyond to ensure students are not only excelling academically but are also equipped to recognise and manage their own mental and emotional well-being. This success is a testament to the dedication of the school’s fantastic teachers, the support of parents, and, of course, the hard work of the students.
“We are committed to providing every child in Haringey with the best environment to thrive, and St Aidan’s has exemplified that. The future of Haringey is bright, with our young people leading the way.”
Director of Children Services at Haringey Council, Ann Graham, said: “We are incredibly proud of St Aidan’s Primary School for achieving such an outstanding Ofsted result. The school has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to both academic excellence and the well-being of its students, ensuring they have the skills to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
“We remain committed to creating the best possible learning environments across Haringey, and St Aidan’s is a shining example of what can be accomplished when we all work together.” Kate Stevens, Headteacher at St Aidan’s Primary School, added: “We are delighted with the outcome of our recent inspection which reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire school community.
“The positive feedback we received is a true testament to the efforts of our staff, pupils, and families. Recognition should also be made of the invaluable support and leadership provided by Haringey Council, Haringey Education Partnership, the London Diocesan Board of Schools and our governors, for which I would like to express my sincere thanks.”
