The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) debuted the latest edition of the Hong Kong Pulse 3D Light Show, which will run until August 28. The show has been expanded to cover not only the façade of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, but also the entire space within its Open Piazza. Locals and tourists alike will be treated to a magnificent 3D visual spectacle, with 60 laser beams projected from all sides of the piazza, weaving the most vivid imagery ever seen.

Part of the Hong Kong Summer Fun promotions, the all-new show is designed to showcase the city's pulsating summer vibe. To heighten the party-like ambience, we invited renowned Australian choreographer Katie Cesaro to compose an upbeat dance performance, which involves luminous, optic fibre-laced costumes, tailor-made by an Oscar-winning wardrobe crew.

For added fun, the Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower will be transformed into an interactive “Fun-O-Meter”, projecting a range of playful emojis when activated by spectators.

The show is a carbon-neutral event. The HKTB commissioned a professional consultancy to measure the carbon emissions. We will offset the unavoidable carbon emissions from the show by supporting sustainable projects afterwards to minimise the impact it will have on the environment.
