St Basils, a dedicated youth homelessness charity in the West Midlands with several accommodation and support projects, including those in Central Birmingham, Solihull and Warwickshire is thrilled to announce that the Hike for Homeless 2024 is fast approaching.
This year's hike will take place in the picturesque Abergavenny area of Wales on Saturday, June 8th for a fantastic opportunity to enjoy breathtaking Welsh scenery while raising vital funds for a worthy cause. Whether you're hiking as a team, with family, or with colleagues, this event promises fitness, fun, and hopefully some sunshine- the weather forecast is looking good!
"The Hike for Homeless is a wonderful way to explore the stunning landscapes of Wales while supporting young people in need," says Barrie Hodge, Head of Fundraising and Communications at St Basils.
"It's more than just a hike; it's about coming together as a community to make a real difference. There are 3 different routes, so we cater to every hiker, novice to experienced.
