KGM Motors UK has awarded its longest serving dealers at a “Dealer Recognition Awards” event held at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London on 27th January, 2024. The award recipients earned praise for their length of service of up to 20-years with the brand.

Kevin Griffin, managing director at KGM Motors UK, extended heartfelt congratulations and thanks to all the accolade recipients: “Recognising our dealers for their exceptional commitment to our brand, and to our mutual customers, is important to us. We give thanks to their quality of service, dedication, and representation of KGM, and we are immensely proud of all of our dealer partnerships.

“Together we enter a very exciting phase as we rebrand from SsangYong to KGM Motors UK, and launch not one, but two fantastic new SUV models imminently to our line-up – Torres and Torres EVX.” Formerly known as SsangYong Motors UK, KGM Motors has an exciting product portfolio with upcoming vehicle launches, starting with Torres in a 1.5 petrol variant, and Torres EVX pure electric variant.

Both, which share the same platform, are C+ segment SUVs and embody the brand's new design philosophy, 'Powered by Toughness,' whilst retaining distinct and authentic SUV characteristics. The event also launched new criteria for the brands ‘Dealer of the Year’ awards for early 2025, which will recognise KGM dealer excellence, and celebrate performance from across its network of 80 KGM dealer partners, honouring outstanding results in sales, aftersales, customer experience, and an overall dealer of the year category.
