The Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony takes place today with a bold, original, and unique setting as it will be held outside a stadium for the first time in Olympic history.

The Rhymney Valley Athletics Club Mini Quad Event, held at the CCBC Athletics Hub in Oakdale, saw an enthusiastic turnout with 48 young athletes, ranging from children under the age of 7 to school year 6, participating in a variety of athletic activities.
