Great Britain Senior Women will return to Manchester for their two vital EuroBasket Women 2017 qualification games in February. Head Coach Jose Maria Buceta will lead his side into Group C clashes with Albania and Montenegro, as the team looks to revive its prospects of reaching a fabulous fourth consecutive appearance at Eurobasket Women Final Round.

Having played their previous home tie against Italy at the Amaechi Centre in front of a passionate and packed home crowd, the action will now switch to the new National Basketball Performance Centre at Belle Vue Sports Village.

Fans are urged to get closer to the action and roar the team on to a pair of victories.

They will be able to give their backing to an array of Olympians, including the likes of Jo Leedham and Azania Stewart - as well as some of the biggest stars of the Women's British Basketball League (WBBL).

Great Britain will look to get off the mark with a victory against Albania on Saturday 20 February in a 7pm tip-off and will then lock horns with Montenegro on Wednesday 24 February in another 7pm start.

"When we needed a lift against Italy last month, the support from the fans in Manchester was very important for us and it helped us back into the game," reiterated Coach Buceta.

"The players appreciate how much it means when everyone comes to the games and really brings the noise.

"While we didn't quite get the win against Italy, we feel we are moving in the right direction and with the help of the fans, we can get the two wins we need in February."
