Seven Sisters Primary School, in London, is celebrating after being judged ‘Good’ in all areas following a recent Ofsted inspection.
The report highlights the school’s continued commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for its pupils, marking a proud moment for the school community. A standout feature of the report is the school’s exceptional support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Inspectors praised the school’s specialist resource provision, where staff carefully identify pupils’ needs and provide expert, tailored support.
The school’s inclusive ethos ensures that pupils with SEND are fully integrated into all aspects of school life, with staff helping them achieve remarkable progress both socially and academically. The inspection also highlighted the school’s well-designed, broad curriculum, which breaks learning into manageable steps, enabling pupils to deepen their understanding across all subjects.
Staff were noted for their effective use of assessment to address gaps in learning and their ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual pupil needs. Councillor Zena Brabazon, Cabinet Member for Children, Schools, and Families at Haringey Council, said: “Another fantastic Ofsted report from a school in Haringey! We are incredibly proud of the dedication and commitment shown by the staff, pupils, and families at Seven Sisters Primary School in providing an excellent education and the very best start in life for our young people.
“A huge congratulations to everyone who has been part of this journey. We look forward to celebrating many more achievements and the bright journey ahead for our children—they truly are the future of Haringey.”
Ann Graham, Director of Children Services at Haringey Council, said: “Inclusivity and high-quality education go hand in hand, and Seven Sisters Primary School exemplifies this perfectly.
“We are incredibly proud of all their achievements and the positive impact they continue to have on their pupils.
“This success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of teachers, families, and, of course, the young people themselves. Thank you to everyone for playing a vital role in this journey.” Emma Murray, Headteacher at Seven Sisters Primary School, said: “I am so proud of the staff here as they work so hard to ensure that all children are included.
“Our children are fast becoming caring and resilient young people who persevere whatever life throws at them, and it was wonderful that Ofsted recognised it too.” Seven Sisters Primary School was inspected under the new Ofsted framework which gives a rating for each area but not a single headline judgement.
