With much discussion in the media about the end of the staycation boom, Pembrokeshire based Bluestone National Park Resort is delighted to report a very strong August, with 97 percent occupancy.

Yvonne Buckingham, Director of Commercial at Bluestone said: “The staycation boom is certainly not over for us.

We are delighted with our performance this summer and our visitor figures are definitely holding up on last year.  We are lucky to have benefitted from excellent weather which has helped drive demand, but our fabulous all-weather hub Serendome, Blue Lagoon and unrivalled spa and wellness facilities mean that visitors will enjoy a stay with us whatever the weather.  We are in an amazing location with excellent facilities, meaning that we also get a very high level of repeat guests.  Whilst availability is now limited for the rest of the school holidays, there are still some spaces in our one bedroom cottages at the end of August for those that may yet booked a summer break.”

Sitting within 500 acres of rolling countryside and with over 50 beaches less than an hour’s drive away, Bluestone is perfectly located for the ultimate staycation.  The resort was recently named one of the top best value holiday resorts in the UK by Which?, the independent consumer organisation, which ranked Bluestone fourth out of 19 UK resorts. It was also named as one of just four Which? Recommended Providers on the list – a top accolade.

One bedroom cottages are available on 26th August for a three night break from Friday to Monday for £469 and 29th August for a four 4 night breaks from Monday to Friday for £599 .
