The popular city centre shuttle buses will be back to get fans to and from the Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts at Aldersley Leisure Village, Wolverhampton, from 13 to 21 November. Buses will be running from Wulfruna Street, and tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster while buying event tickets.

Sports fans hoping to secure tickets for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games need to act fast as the main ticket ballot for the Games will close at 8pm today (Thursday September 30). Former Liverpool and England striker Roger Hunt has died age 83, the Premier League club has announced. He was part of England's 1966 World Cup-winning side and is Liverpool's record league scorer with 244 goals.

It’s one of the most emotive moments of any sporting event and over the past few weeks, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) have been recording the national anthems for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

All 72 anthems were arranged and conducted by Royal Academy of Music professor Philip Sheppard, who specialises in film and television soundtracks.
