Birmingham law firm, Clarke Willmott LLP, has announced its sponsorship of a programme designed to help brain injury survivors in Bangladesh. The programme is designed to close the treatment gap in the country, as well as providing improved psychological treatment and rehabilitation to patients. Clarke Willmott’s sponsorship, via its Serious Injury team, will see the firm donate new textbooks to psychology and neuropsychology students in Bangladesh, which will assist them with their studies to become fully qualified, with the eventual aim of delivering much-needed treatment and rehabilitation to local communities.

While Pakistan is consistently focusing on developing different arenas of the country from agriculture to energy, the key aspect which is being overlooked is that of education. While energy, time, money and resources are being spent on ensuring food security and eliminating load shedding, no one from top down is questioning why government bodies need to spend so much on ensuring more resources for the future. If one stopped and thought about it they would realize that the answer lies in Pakistan’s growing population.

Suhail Mohd Al-Zarooni, who is also the Chairman Al Zarooni Foundation, informed that the mega real estate project will initially start from Dubai and in the second phase, the project will be expanded to other Asian countries which will start from Pakistan by Karachi-based DM Real Estate Group.

Sense International supports children and adults who are deafblind in Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Tanzania, Peru, Romania and Uganda and they are currently planning a programme for Bangladesh to support deafblind children that are currently being excluded from basic education, with dire consequences for the individual, family and community.  

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in-charge of Zone 2, AIG Kayode Aderanti, mni went on a duty tour of Ogun State Command on Tuesday January 24, 2017. The first stop for the AIG was a courtesy call to Sentator Ibikunle Amosun, the Executive Governor of Ogun State at the government offices. Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir has said that on the basis of a comprehensive policy, Punjab University would be brought among top 500 universities of the world and it would play role in improving country’s economy. Daydream Island Resort and Spa's owners China Capital Investment Group (CCIG) has announced a more than $50-million-dollar redevelopment which will see significant infrastructure upgrades to the popular Whitsunday tropical island resort. The works will see the resort closing in early 2018 for a period of time to ensure renovations can occur in the shortest possible time and with minimal disruptions.

nternational tourists are travelling across English regions in record numbers, and they are spending more too. Official statistics released today show that in the first nine months of 2016 there were a record-breaking 12.2 million visits to English regions outside London, up 4% compared to the same period in 2015.  Spend by international visitors across England’s regions also set a record during this period, up 2% to £5.9 billion.
