Four English pairings will get the chance to shine at the 2025 YONEX All England Open, which starts at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on March 11.
The 32 players and pairings from across the globe have now been confirmed to compete for honours across five disciplines at this, the world’s oldest and most prestigious badminton tournament. Leading the English charge are two-time Olympians Ben Lane and Sean Vendy (pic), who will be making their fifth appearance together at the All Englands.
After the pair secured Silver at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, they are sure to be keen to get the home crowd support behind them once again. Making their debut in the women’s doubles draw are Estelle van Leeuwen and Chloe Coney.
For both Van Leeuwen and Coney, this will be their maiden appearances at this iconic event. They have made a strong start to their new partnership having reached the finals of the Scottish and Irish Opens in the latter part of 2024.
