Iconic retail, dining and leisure venue, Bullring & Grand Central, is a must-visit destination in the region this Twixmas – the term used to describe the period between Boxing Day and New Year.

With a range of new shops, restaurants and leisure venues alongside the highly anticipated Boxing Day sales, there’s lots to do and see at Bullring & Grand Central.

  1. Shop the sales

The iconic post-Christmas sales officially start on Boxing Day at Bullring & Grand Central when it opens at 8am (open until 8pm). Many of the destination's stores, including Selfridges, will be unveiling their popular sales with discounts available across a number of products, whilst Next and Marks & Spencer launch their sales on Wednesday 27th December (9am – 8pm). * individual store times vary.

  1. Mulled wine with a view

For those looking for a chance to sit back and watch the world go by, the Après Ski Bar located on St Martin’s Walk offers the perfect spot for a bit of people watching with the backdrop of St Martin’s Church. The pop-up bar is open until 31st December and offers a cosy ski lodge-style setting with mulled wine, winter cocktails and hot chocolates.

  1. Embrace your competitive side

The city’s newest gaming hotspot has just opened at Bullring & Grand Central – Lane7. Visitors can play a game of bowling, sing their hearts out in the karaoke booth and enjoy a range of retro arcade games. Alternatively, guests can unleash their inner golfing enthusiast at Treetop Adventure Golf where they can choice from two 18-hole mini golf courses set in a tropical rainforest.

  1. Escape to another world

Sandbox VR, located in Grand Central, offers the very latest in technology to transport visitors to a world far away. Guests can take on the exclusive Squid Games Virtuals game or protect the Earth from an alien invasion amongst other quests.

  1. Grab a bite to eat

The last twelve months have seen new eateries join the line-up at Bullring & Grand Central including the Pan-Asian restaurant, Banana Tree, and on-the-go operator, Shokupan. With over 60 food and beverage venues, there’s an option for everyone looking to grab a bite to eat during Twixmas.

Marks & Spencer, Berskha, Pull&Bear and Nike Rise plus so many more... Bullring & Grand Central has welcomed lots of new brands to the destination this year. Take some time to visit the new stores as well as some of the older favourites that have had upgrades this year including Goldsmiths and HMV.

  1. Grab a Christmas selfie with the Bull

No trip to Bullring & Grand Central is complete without a quick selfie with the iconic Bull. As one of the most photographed landmarks in the UK, it’s a must.
