Window to the Womb, specialists in private prenatal baby scanning is delighted to announce the opening of its latest studio in Birmingham. The studio, which uses the latest ultrasound technology, provides families with a real time first glimpse of their unborn child in 3D and moving four dimensional images (4D) delivered by highly qualified sonographers.
A variety of services are on offer, from identifying the baby's gender from 16 weeks - four weeks earlier than offered by the NHS - through to amazing 4D videos. The scans allow parents to witness the unborn child’s early movements from yawns, stretches and tugging at the umbilical cord as well as a first glimpse of their baby’s facial features. All Window to the Womb scans include a fetal wellbeing check and a Wellbeing Report that serves to reassure the parents.
The studio is the 18th to open outside of Window to the Womb’s original Nottingham based studio, which first opened in 2004 and is part of a nationwide franchise rollout to over 40 locations across England and Wales over the next two years.

The Window to the Womb studio has been opened in Kingstanding, Birmingham by Leamington Spa based couple Stuart Smith and Pauline Kelly-Smith. Pauline has left her previous career to focus on developing the Window to the Womb business in Birmingham. She has hired a team from the local area to support her in the first studio and the couple are planning to open a second studio to the west of the M6 in 2017.
