St. Kitts Tourism Authority has announced the appointment of Anne Kelly Fontenelle-Clarke, a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in tourism and event management, as its new CEO. She will officially assume her role on July 1.

Fontenelle-Clarke, known for her expertise in the Caribbean and romance travel markets, expressed her enthusiasm for her new position. "St. Kitts has emerged as a premier destination on the global stage, demonstrating remarkable resilience post-pandemic," she said.

"I am excited to continue driving creative strategies to increase St. Kitts' visibility, expand into new markets, continue drawing the romance crowd to the island, and ensure it is a top consideration for all travellers." A native of St. Lucia, Fontenelle-Clarke previously served as the director of marketing for the St. Lucia Tourism Authority in the United States.

She is also the founder of Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean and has been a valued member of the TMR team. Daniel McCarthy, TMR's Editor-in-Chief and VP, shared his support: "We're so happy for Kelly to join St. Kitts.

“She was an incredible team member during her tenure at TMR and we can't think of a better person to lead St. Kitts Tourism Authority. We know she's going to do incredible things for the destination, and she'll always be part of our family."

In her new role, Fontenelle-Clarke will spearhead St. Kitts Tourism Authority's international marketing efforts, focusing on the travel trade and airline partnerships. Additionally, she will oversee the leisure, cruise, romance, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) markets.
