2nd Generation of Barbadians & Friends (Birmingham) and the BCA (Birmingham Community Association) are jointly holding a Cancer Awareness Day, on Saturday, January 28, in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust and the Macmillan Cancer Trust on a day that will provide fun for all the family which includes a bouncy castle and face painting for the children, soca aerobics massages with food on sale.
There will be opportunities to find out more with discussion groups on hand talking about health subject matters which include prostate cancer, sickle cell anaemia as well as healthy eating diets and procedures.
Various DJs will be on hand throughout the night providing a night full of musical entertainment - with all donations received in support of the event in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust and Macmillan Cancer Trust Ward 24 at Heartlands Hospital (Birmingham).
The Cancer Awareness Day, at the Birmingham Community Association, in Small Heath, is free daytime event for all the family with entry for the evening proceedings being £5.00 on the door.
