Rising indie-pop artist Ber today releases the new single ‘It’s Impressive’ after teasers for the track instigated excitement amongst fans old and new.

Generating over 3.4 million views, it resulted in thousands of comments asking her to release the full version of the track to streaming platforms. It’s easy to see why ‘It’s Impressive’ is making such a connection.

Set to a plaintive backdrop of softly chiming piano, Ber’s angelic, crystalline voice tells the story of a relationship which has everything going for it… except for the security of it actually being defined as a relationship. Tackling an immediately relatable emotion, ‘It’s Impressive’ is the perfect fit for sad girl playlists everywhere.
Ber says: “'It’s Impressive’ spilled out of me in about 20 minutes one day when I sat down at the piano for my daily write (which was a challenge I had set for myself for the month of January).

“I was just writing about what was in front of me, which were these very real and confusing emotions I was having for someone who I’ve been ‘dating’ but not really dating. It felt so funny to dissect a situationship in this way, it was so odd how sad I was feeling about something that wasn’t really even real or official.

“It blew up overnight on TikTok after posting it the same day, I clearly was not alone and situationships are shockingly common now. It was a bittersweet feeling to have struck a chord with this one.”
‘It’s Impressive’ was written by Ber and was produced by Brad Hale (The Naked And Famous, Kenny Hoopla). Today also brings news of Ber’s first UK headline show of 2024. She will play a special acoustic set at London’s Paper Dress Vintage on June 26th - tickets are now available.

Her previous UK shows have included The Great Escape, Latitude, Barn on the Farm, Live At Leeds and a headline gig at The Lower Third. Plus, she has performed alongside artists including Sigrid, Holly Humberstone, Maisie Peters, Tom Odell and JP Saxe. Ber is also confirmed to play a hometown show in Minneapolis at Fine Line on 3rd May.

Originally hailing from Bemidji, Minnesota, Ber spent most of her early adult life residing in the UK and also spent time in Norway, where she has family heritage, before returning to the US. Her debut EP ‘And I’m Still Thinking About That’ and its lead single ‘Meant To Be’ started her ascension which again stepped up a gear with last year’s six-track ‘Halfway’ EP, with supporters to date including Radio 1, and Zane Lowe and Travis Mills at Apple Music 1.
