Ever wondered how a blind person bakes a cake? Gemma Stafford, host of one of YouTube’s most popular baking shows ‘Bigger Bolder Baking’ has teamed up with blind beauty blogger Lucy Edwards and sight loss charity RNIB to show how being blind doesn’t need to get in the way of cooking up a treat in the kitchen.

Professionally-trained chef Gemma and Lucy, who also presents her own popular YouTube channel ‘Yesterday’s Wishes’, star in a short video where they talk us through a delicious cupcake recipe.

Gemma and Lucy couldn’t make it any easier when they bake some delicious polka dot cupcakes for their tea party for RNIB’s ‘Wear Dots, Raise Lots’ fundraising campaign. Their quick and easy recipe will show you that anyone can have fun in the kitchen.

Nineteen-year-old Lucy has a rare condition which caused her to start losing her sight at the age of 11. With the help of a couple of gizmos, including some talking scales called ‘Bob’, Lucy demonstrates how being blind doesn’t stop her from doing the things she loves.
